What is fin tube ?

Finned tube is a heat exchanger element. In order to improve the heat exchange efficiency, the surface area (or internal surface area) of the heat exchange tube is usually increased by adding fins on the surface of the heat exchange tube, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the heat exchange efficiency, such a heat exchange tube.

About the Embedded fin tube

The embedded spiral finned tube is a spiral groove of a certain width and depth pre-machined on the steel pipe, and then the steel strip is embedded on the steel pipe on the lathe. During the winding process, due to a certain preload, the steel belt will be tightly tightened in the spiral groove, so as to ensure that there is a certain contact area between the steel belt and the steel pipe. In order to prevent the steel strip from bouncing off, the two ends of the steel strip should be welded to the steel pipe. In order to facilitate the setting, there should be a certain side gap between the steel belt and the spiral groove. If the side gap is too small and interference is formed, the Mosaic process is difficult to proceed smoothly. In addition, the wound steel strip always has a certain rebound, the result makes the steel strip and the bottom of the spiral groove can not be well engaged. The Mosaic fin can be carried out on the general equipment, the cost is not high, but the process is complex and the production efficiency is low.
